What is a mold?

Molds are various molds and tools used in industrial production to manufacture required products, which are realized through injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, die-casting, forging, smelting, stamping and other methods.

In short, it is a tool that turns a blank into a workpiece of a specific shape and size under the action of external force. This tool is composed of various parts, and different molds are composed of different parts. It mainly achieves the processing of the shape of the object through changes in the physical state of the molded material. Mold composition

The mold usually consists of two parts: the movable mold and the fixed mold (or punch and concave mold), which can be separated or combined. Separate to take out the workpiece, and when closed, the blank is injected into the mold cavity for forming. Molds are precision tools with complex shapes that need to withstand the bulging force of the blank. Therefore, they have high requirements for structural strength, stiffness, surface hardness, surface roughness and processing accuracy. Main uses of molds

A mold is an industrial tool that changes the physical state of the molded material to produce parts with specific shapes and sizes.
